Gender
Female
Age
20 years old

Description

Congenital breast asymmetry most commonly becones visible during puberty. This 20 year old patient noted asymmetry in shape and volume at this stage. Exam demonstrated smaller breast on the left with asymmetry of the nipple areolar area, and difference in the breast crease position. She was most concerned about the volume issues and was aware thst there would be some asymmetry with placement of an implant alone. She underwent breast augmentation with a 275cc implant placed under the muscle through a breast crease incision. This significantly improved her balance and appearance and resulted in a moderate C cup outcome.
