This 49-year-old sought removal of 13-year-old, 425cc saline implants due to a variety of undiagnosed health issues. Patient began to develop brain fog, fatigue, joint pain and neuromuscular symptoms with multiple specialist workups and was concerned about the possibility of Breast Implant Illness (BII). Exam showed asymmetry with greater droop on the left, bilateral firmness, significant implant volume, and nipple-areolar asymmetry. Bilateral removal and capsulectomy through a lower breast crease incision improved contour, nipple-areolar symmetry, and reduced visible superficial veins. She noted that she was experiencing significnt improvemt with resolution of symptoms i week following surgery. The patient was very pleased with the more natural appearance and outcome.
