Breast Implant Removal Case 11

Gender
Female
Age
58 years old

Description

General concerns and breast pain brought this 58-year-old in for evaluation of her 17-year-old, 325cc saline implants, with a plan for removal and total capsulectomy. She presented after a prior bilateral augmentation with moderate breast asymmetry, most noticeable as asymmetric nipple-areolar positioning and modest volume distribution asymmetry. Bilateral implant removal with capsulectomy through a lower breast crease incision resulted in loss of volume and an improved, natural appearance with stabilized nipple-areolar position.
