Description

This 65-year-old presented for evaluation of 19-year-old breast implants with plans for a breast lift and removal of her 350cc saline implants. Exam revealed breast asymmetry with a lower breast position on the left, along with significant thinning of the breast tissue over the implants along the lower breast on both sides. Bilateral implant removal, capsulectomy, and breast reshaping lift resulted in improvement of nipple and areolar size and position and restoration of lower breast volume, with the greatest volume loss occurring along the upper breast bilaterally. She was pleased with the natural breast appearance after surgery.
