Breast Implant Removal Case 8

Gender
Female
Age
35 years old

Description

This 35-year-old consulted for ongoing health concerns related to her 10-year-old, 421cc silicone implants and, seen 10 months post-surgery, reports significant improvement in her prior symptoms and feeling much better overall. She had significant breast asymmetry with widely positioned, unequal-volume breasts and a double contour below the nipple-areolar complex from tissue thinning over descended implants. Bilateral implant removal and capsulectomy through an inframammary incision resolved the double contour and improved overall symmetry, even with moderate volume loss more noticeable in the upper breast bilaterally, and she was pleased with the restoration of a much more natural appearance.
