Health concerns related to older implants often surface alongside changes already present from a prior lift. This 35-year-old, with a history of a prior breast lift and augmentation, came in regarding her 9-year-old, 300cc silicone implants. She started having health concerns 3 years after her breast augmentation of fatigue, joint pain, GI issues, and head aches and felt that these could be related to Breast Implant Illness (BII). She had nipple-areolar asymmetry with greater droop on the left lower breast, and the left breast was significantly thinner than the right, with both sides thin below the nipple. Bilateral implant removal with capsulectomy and revision breast lift significantly improved symmetry, nipple repositioning, and lower breast margin contour. She felt that many of her symptoms improved within 6 weeks including fatique. She was pleased with the overall improvement in contour, volume, and natural appearance and resolution of health.
