Liposuction Case 2

Gender
Female
Age
46–55 years old

Description

Menopause-related fat redistribution is a common, physiologically driven change — not a reflection of effort or lifestyle. This 52-year-old had maintained a weight she was comfortable with but hoped to regain some control over shape changes that had developed over the last decade. She had significant skin dimpling consistent with cellulite, particularly in the lateral thighs, and wanted improved contour of the abdomen, hips (flanks), lateral and medial thighs, and buttock crease. Liposuction produced significant improvement in contour that made a dramatic difference in her ability to wear clothing she’d saved over the years. Surgery alone didn’t resolve all skin laxity or cellulite, but achieved an appearance she was very pleased with and felt was appropriate for her age and frame.
