Breast Implant Removal Case 20

Gender
Female
Age
38 years old

Description

Pain and overall health concerns brought this 50-year-old in regarding her 15-year-old, 400cc saline implants, with modest asymmetry present following prior augmentation. She noted bilateral breast pain and “burning”, with fatigue and joint pain, and was concerned about possible Breast Implant Illness (BII). Bilateral removal and capsulectomy through an inframammary crease incision resulted in expected volume loss with mild residual asymmetry and good overall contour. Patient felt “great” at 2 months and was glad she had the surgery.
