Removal of aging breast implants combined with a lift can restore both comfort and shape when implants no longer suit a patient’s needs. This 40-year-old sought removal of her 6-year-old, 350cc silicone implants along with correction of resulting breast droop. Explantation with capsulectomy was performed through an inframammary crease incision, paired with a breast lift using an inverted T approach. She had significant improvement in the balance and appearance of the breast and nipple-areolar size and positioning, and returned to her normal activity in 3-4 weeks without complications.
