Description
This patient had lived with disproportionate fullness in her hips (flanks) and outer thighs (lateral thighs) since her teenage years and had never found an exercise routine that changed it. She had significant skin laxity in the lateral thigh area and understood she might be a candidate for additional skin tightening after surgery; her main concern was that the widest part of her frame was below the waist, so her pants size never matched her upper body. Liposuction of these areas produced significant improvement in balance. She was very pleased with her outcome and continued exercising to maintain and build on her results.
