Description
Runners and other athletes who maintain low body fat often see breast volume loss disproportionate to their overall frame. This 27-year-old, 5’2″ with one child and a consistent running routine, had modest breast volume and nipple-areolar asymmetry and wanted to go from a 32B to a moderate-to-full 32C. She underwent bilateral augmentation with smooth-surface silicone gel implants placed under the pectoral muscle through a breast crease incision. The modest asymmetry preoperatively improved after implant placement. She achieved both the volume and appearance she wanted.
