Capsular Contracture Case 8

Gender
Female
Age
49 years old

Description

These photos are of a 49-year-old who sought removal of 13-year-old, 425cc saline implants due to unresolved health issues over the years. Exam showed asymmetry following the original augmentation, with greater droop on the left, firmness bilaterally, significant implant volume, and nipple-areolar asymmetry. She underwent bilateral implant removal and capsulectomy through a lower breast crease incision, improving contour, nipple-areolar symmetry, and significantly reducing visible superficial veins of the breast and chest; results shown are 4 weeks post-op. She was very pleased with the more natural appearance and outcome.
