Description
Congenital breast asymmetry with a tubular appearance can often be corrected without an implant when the goal is reshaping rather than added volume. This patient, in her mid-20s with no pregnancies and stable weight, presented with droop and asymmetry consistent with tubular breast shape and was clear that she wanted a change in contour without an implant. She underwent a modified breast lift using a central mound technique to reshape the breast while preserving her existing volume. The result was significant improvement in contour and balance with a natural appearance, and she was very pleased with the outcome; she returned to her normal activity in 3-4 weeks without complications.
