Breast Implant Removal Case 24

Gender
Female
Age
37 years old

Description

Concerns about displacement of the right implant, chest pain, and inflammatory symptoms brought this 37-year-old in regarding her 12-year-old saline implants. Exam showed significant thinning of natural tissue over the implants, particularly along the lateral margins. Her 270cc saline implants were removed with capsulectomy through an inframammary incision, resulting in significant volume reduction with some residual skin folding on the right lateral breast from the original implant’s size and position; she was pleased with the outcome.
