Description
Lateral implant displacement — where implants shift toward the side of the chest, especially noticeable when reclining — is typically corrected with pocket modification rather than implant exchange alone. This 21 year old patient’s main concern was implants and breast tissue positioned too far laterally, and exam confirmed this asymmetry with lateral displacement. Revision surgery included implant exchange with 300cc implants, along with pocket modification and repositioning. She achieved a much more natural, soft appearance, with significant improvement in comfort following surgery.
