What is JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC?

Unfortunately, as we age, our skin changes; lines and wrinkles seem to appear overnight. Botox and JUVÉDERM are the go-to injectables to treat these concerns, but what about the loss of volume in the cheeks? Allergan (the maker of Botox and JUVÉDERM) have an option for you called Voluma®.

This injectable gel helps with loss of volume and saggy skin. Voluma is a hyaluronic acid filler which is made from long chains of sugars that occur naturally in the skin. JUVÉDERM Voluma is unique in that the hyaluronic acid is cross-linked through a process called VYCROSS® that helps provide an excellent lifting capacity. The special cross-linking makes Voluma last longer than some other injectables.

With JUVÉDERM Voluma XC you can get a more youthful appearance in just one treatment!

Juvederm Voluma

JUVÉDERM® products are made from a substance that occur naturally in all human bodies – hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is highly attracted to water and has the ability to bind to it. As we age, hyaluronic acid is depleted, the skin loses volume and lines, wrinkles and folds are formed. JUVÉDERM’family of fillers are one of today’s most popular in-office, “lunch-hour” treatments.
