Pubic Area Surgery restores the more youthful, balanced size & shape you once enjoyed.

Genetics & Lifestyle

One of the body areas, most resistant to diet and exercise, is the pubic area. This is the hair bearing tissue that covers the pubic bone and surrounding tissue. Over time, this area often becomes prominent and fuller than the surrounding areas, causing a “bulge.” Frustration and embarrassment usually result since this bulging is evident in certain clothing and during many if not most activities. Some women develop this unwelcome pubic bulge during childhood (genetics), while often it appears following pregnancy, lifestyle changes, with normal aging and weight changes. Diet and even rigorous exercise have proven futile in getting rid of pubic area fat deposits, loose skin, saggy tissue, excess weighty feeling, asymmetric shape and the discomfort you experience because of it. The added weight in the vaginal area often impacts intimacy.

As one of Atlanta’s surgeons of choice for these sensitive, delicate procedures, he employs only safe, reliable techniques, along with his years of experience, honed skills & artistic eye… all proven to achieve results that are functional & natural looking.

Pubic Area Surgery Procedure Overview

Dr. Rudderman uses a variety of specialized techniques, each designed to specifically target a range of sensitive issues…to restore more youthful, natural looking results.

The pubic mons area may have excess fatty tissue, excess skin, stretch marks, sagging tissue or a combination of these issues. Treatment often includes Liposuction to first reduce volume, followed by removal of excess fat to sculpt the pubic area to a smaller, more desirable size and shape. Often women, with incontinence issues, choose to have a Pubic Lift done at the same time to elevate and reduce sagging tissue of the Pubic Mons area. This restores function, balance and shape to the genital area as well. Labiaplasty is frequently done in tandem with these procedures to have it all done under one anesthesia and to achieve the most pleasing outcome overall.

Dr. Rudderman uses the most advanced techniques and refined instruments so incisions are smaller, downtime is shorter and the results are seen quicker.

  • Dr. Rudderman and his staff made the experience easy and comfortable. They were realistic communicating surgery expectations, expected pain levels and down time from work. Nurses were informative and friendly and wait times minimal. I also liked the fact that Dr. Rudderman does all his own work and doesn't let other less experienced people do parts of the surgery the way other doctors may. I'm only one week out of the surgery, but I am very satisfied with the results so far.
