Tubular Breasts Atlanta

Genetics & Lifestyle

Tubular breasts are typically long and narrow with a nipple/areola area that looks pointed, puffy and seems to point downward or is too close to the breast crease. Women with tubular breast condition are commonly embarrassed and unhappy with the shape and asymmetry of their breasts. Clothing doesn’t look good, and bras don’t fit right and are uncomfortable. Young women, especially, realize their breasts are “different” which causes them embarrassment and sometimes peer ridicule.

Tubular Breast Correction Procedure Overview

Dr. Rudderman uses special, delicate techniques in all of his surgeries. This allows for quicker recovery, healing and less scarring.

Correction for tubular breast often requires some repositioning of breast skin and tissue. Constricted areas are released and nipple/areola areas are corrected to reduce puffiness and improve shape and position. If volume is needed to improve breast size, shape and contour, implants may be used to achieve this. Today’s implants look and feel natural and provide long lasting results. Dr. Rudderman’s patients rarely experience scarring that requires revision surgery, and he gets results that are truly pleasing and natural looking.

Procedures Used to correct tubular breasts include:

  • Breast Augmentation …adding volume
  • Breast Reduction…subtracting volume
  • Lifting & tightening…muscle & tissue
  • Nipple/Areolar adjustment…for balance & a pleasing look

These procedures can dramatically affect the way your bra fits and functions, your choices in clothing (everything looks & fits better), your comfort level with daily activities and exercise, your level of self confidence…you get a balanced, normal, pleasing look. You’ll love the new you!

  • Dr. Rudderman and his staff made the experience easy and comfortable. They were realistic communicating surgery expectations, expected pain levels and down time from work. Nurses were informative and friendly and wait times minimal. I also liked the fact that Dr. Rudderman does all his own work and doesn't let other less experienced people do parts of the surgery the way other doctors may. I'm only one week out of the surgery, but I am very satisfied with the results so far.
