Rhytidectomy (Facelift) Atlanta

Today’s many facelift options appeal to men & women of various ages & stages in life. These can be tailored to each persons specific needs…to achieve results that take years of an aging face & look truly natural.

Genetics & Lifestyle

Genetics helps to determine how we will age and at what pace changes will occur…like mother, like daughter or like father, like son. Lifestyle, sun exposure, diet, trauma and disease are other factors that influence facial aging where aging becomes visible first and is the most dramatic. They show up as sagging skin, lax neck muscles, hollow cheeks, lines, wrinkles and grooves, jowls, changes in the nose and eye area…and more. Men and women of all ages and stages in life are realizing that if they do like Hollywood celebrities do, and start small cosmetic procedures in their 40’s, it can save them from more drastic overhauls in their 50’s and 60’s.

Doing little procedures early on, and maintaining them, keeps people looking at least 10 years younger…always.

Dr. Rudderman understands the various stages and types of facial aging, the complex facial anatomy and the procedures needed to restore youthfulness to the entire face. Dr. Rudderman performs a Rhytidectomy (Facelift) to rejuvenate the face by removing sagging, excess skin, lifting and tightening muscles and correcting hollow cheeks, jowls and more. There are many facelift surgeries and each one is designed to achieve individual goals because, simply said…one facelift does not fit all needs.

Facelift Procedure Overview

A facelift is a surgery that effectively corrects the signs of aging in the lower two thirds of your face. This facial rejuvenation includes removing excess sagging skin, lifting and tightening muscles and correcting hollows such as the cheeks and jowls. Necklift is often done also to create balance and the more pleasing aesthetic outcome. Other techniques, such as Juvederm & Botox or Fat Grafting may be used to get the results you want. A Rhinoplasty can rejuvenate the nose to achieve overall facial balance. Dr. Rudderman will discuss it with you, review all your options and create the treatment plan that will address your specific concerns safely and effectively.

Since a Facelift involves several areas of the face, often a combination of procedures are needed to achieve truly natural looking results and a more youthful appearance.

  • Dr. Rudderman and his staff made the experience easy and comfortable. They were realistic communicating surgery expectations, expected pain levels and down time from work. Nurses were informative and friendly and wait times minimal. I also liked the fact that Dr. Rudderman does all his own work and doesn't let other less experienced people do parts of the surgery the way other doctors may. I'm only one week out of the surgery, but I am very satisfied with the results so far.
