What is a PRP Injection?

PRP is Platelet Rich Plasma separated from your blood via centrifuge, then turned into a gel and injected or massaged into the skin during treatment. This creates micro-channels that allow your PRP to penetrate deeply to stimulate protein-rich growth factors.

Our providers use PRP for a variety of spa treatments such as: micro needling of the face, micro needling of the scalp for hair growth, injectable fillers and more. Talk to our providers today about the many ways you can benefit from PRP treatments.

PRP Treatments for Hair Loss

During a PRP hair loss treatment, a patient’s blood is drawn, then placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge separates the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood, allowing it to be reconstituted into a gel which can then be injected into the skin. This little amount of blood with a high concentration of platelets and growth factors is referred to as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). When injected into the affected area, PRP stimulates hair follicles to slow down loss and stimulate new hair growth.

No medication is required pre or post-procedure and PRP injections can be performed every month.
