Ageless Beauty: Which Cosmetic Surgery Procedures are Most Popular?

Women and men of all ages want to look their best and are seeking treatments at the plastic surgeon’s office.  Which procedures are popular depends on the age of the patient? Millennials, genXers, and baby boomers come to Dr.Rudderman’s office to receive treatments that help boost their confidence.

Ages 19 – 34

One of the most popular procedures for young women ages 19-34 is breast augmentation.  Patients choose breast implants to enhance and improve their figure. With the rise of social media and the popularity of selfies, millennials want to be picture perfect. In addition to surgery, Botox® is becoming the treatment of choice to prevent lines and wrinkles no filter.

Ages 35 – 50

Plastic surgery procedures are on the rise for patients ages 35-50. As we age, our bodies change and so do our expectations of how we look. Mommy makeovers are desirable for today’s woman. The joys of motherhood are boundless and wonderful, but the changes in a post pregnancy body are not.

Breast surgery, liposuction, ThermiVA, and tummy tucks are most common in mommy makeovers. Botox® and dermal fillers such as Voluma® and Vollure® are helping patients age gracefully and turn back the hands of time.

Ages 50 and Up

Patients ages 50 and up visit the plastic surgeon’s office on a regular basis for a variety of treatments. Many patients in this age range are still in the workforce and want to be competitive in their respective field. They want to look refreshed and not tired.

Upper blepharoplasty surgery (eyelid lift) gives patients a more rejuvenated appearance. Mature men and women may be ready to reduce the wrinkles for the first time or may want to enhance the results of previous cosmetic medical procedures. With that being said, fillers and Botox® are a sought after treatment for this group.

Adults of all ages enjoy the services offered at Dr. Rudderman’s office and you can too!
