Plastic Surgery as a Holiday Gift

The holidays are quickly approaching; let the gift shopping begin. Avoid the crowds, long lines, and traffic by giving your loved one the gift they will truly enjoy. The gift of plastic surgery! Plastic surgery is costly, so it an obvious choice for a gift wish list.  Many of Dr.Rudderman’s patients chose to have surgery for holidays as a gift for themselves, but when buying surgery for a gift there is things to keep in mind.

  1. The most important guideline in plastic surgery gift giving is never suggesting a procedure that your loved one has never mentioned. You don’t want to offend anyone or make them feel insecure or inadequate. If your wife has mentioned a breast augmentation for the last couple of years, you have the green light to schedule a consultation, and promise to pay.
  2. Always have a consultation for your loved one.  It is important to discuss all possible options and to make sure they are a good candidate for surgery.
  3. Let your loved one choose their plastic surgeon. It is important that the patient is confident and comfortable with the surgeon. Remember it’s a gift for them and not for you.

In addition to plastic surgery, injectables such as Botox®, Juvederm®, Voluma®, and Volbella® are great gift ideas too. If you know your loved one has had these treatments in the past, it is safe to say they will love receiving them as a gift. If you are uncertain what to purchase, gift certificates never disappoint.   Our gift certificates apply to surgeries, injectables, skincare, and spa services.  Don’t forget to call us on Black Tuesday, November 22nd for our holiday specials!
